Right after state saving, image caching was probably one of the most requested features. So, here it is:
Reeder lets you choose for which items you want to enable image caching:
A note regarding the status bar overlay:
Image caching can take a while to complete. If you don't want Reeder to cover the whole status bar while syncing/caching, just tap on it and it'll minimize and just cover the battery icon.
